It Won’t Be Long Now

Guess what?  I know people hate it when you start a conversation off like that, but I wanted you to guess.  It is finally happening!

The adoption.

It is so big that I had to set it apart from the other words. We have a court date set to finalize the adoption.  Holy cow!  On Monday, April 1st, we will stand in a courtroom and some person in a black robe will tell me what God put on my heart almost years ago…that one tiny girl is mine.

I have already warned them that if it is an April’s Fool Day joke there will be serious consequences, but everyone assures me that it is no joke.

So next week be prepared for some photos.  I mean a lot of them. Two and half years worth. Consider yourself warned.  ;)

  5. It's about stinking time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise be to the LORD JESUS...Haven't you grown in the LORD with all of this going on? I know I have girl...I'm still waiting...I don't know if you've caught up on my blog, but we had our TPR date set for March 26th and birth mom decided a week before it to come back after being gone for 11 months of no contact....Now I have to take MY baby girl to visit a stranger every week...And guess what birth mom is pregnant and having the baby, I think, tomorrow...I've had my Little Lovely for 17 months now...They are taking this to trial... I don't know what the LORD has planned for us, but I have to say with all of this being a nightmare I wouldn't take any of the growth, fellowship and the love I have felt from our LORD...Amazing, amazing, amazing...

I am so excited for this to be over for you....Such an amazing testimony for many to hear....

    Lord Bless...

  6. Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is excellent blog. A great read. I will certainly be back. 7. I've read all your posts and I'm dying to know the end of the story. I can't find any posts about the adoption going through. Your fostering posts have blessed me SO much! We are about to go through the process of being licensed as foster parents starting this month. Thank you for your honest sharing!
