Easter Baskets for Far Away Family

Easter is about a week away!  Can you believe it?  I know you all have so much to do with your own house.  I have been trying to transition spring clothes out of storage bins and donate good condition clothes.  By the way, you should think about donating your clothes to your local foster agency as well as a place like Goodwill.  It is still tax deductible and I know it would be extremely appreciated.  I have outfits for everyone to wear (except for me).
I like to send my nephew and niece in Texas Easter cards with stickers and stuff in it.  Cole will write them notes and include some ninja drawings.  I want to do something special for my grandma, too.  Easter is a crummy time to be diabetic.  So I try to get an assortment of goodies for her.
I found a website called Gourmet Gift Baskets and they have a huge variety of baskets.  If you are looking for any specific type of Easter basket, they have you covered.  I even found a sugar free one.  Whew, because I had been procrastinating a little too long.  Yikes.
I just thought I would share this information because I know I am not the only one that has out of town family or likes to do special things for loved ones.  Oh, and they ship internationally, so my military friends stationed overseas can get some goodies from home, too.  :)
It is also good to keep in mind for Mother’s Day, as well.

  1. I never thought about how hard it would be to be diabetic at Easter, or I guess almost any candy related holiday.
