No theme, no type (macro, portrait, landscape, etc.), just a shot you want to share. That makes it easy to participate. Way to think of us slackers, Deb.
So I thought I would share a shot of Cole’s best friend. They went through two years of preschool together, had playdates over the summer, and now sit next to each other in kindergarten. She is so sweet, too. She and her little sister came over to play a couple of days ago. I whipped out the camera trying to get shots of them covering the driveway with chalk and she stopped and posed for me. I loved it!
Obviously this kid has not been around too much, because this is what I get from my own kids.
And any self respecting mom would have made sure her child did not have dirt on his face when she was taking pictures, but oh well. And someone please remind me to schedule a haircut for him!

These are too cute!
ReplyDeleteI took some of my grandson this weekend with a dirty face before I realized it. I thought, wow, wait until my daughter see's this, or maybe I just won't show her! :)
Visiting from "This or That". Haha...that photo of your young son's expression is exactly the SAME expression I get from my 26 year old when I want to take his picture!

Awww, these were just precious. Hey mom, he is just a typical boy! Ha Ha... (I'm the mom of 5 sons).
ReplyDeleteGreat captures.
Hope your day is blessed!
dirt makes it cuter.
ReplyDeleteAren't they cuties - and I'm also a fan of any meme with no theme. Makes it so easy to link up!
ReplyDeleteYou are cracking me up! Should I change the name to "a link up for slackers"?! So funny how the little girls are ready for the camera and the boys just give you that look. There are both fabulous photos. Beautiful light and adorable kids. A great combination!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for linking up today!
These are beautiful. Love those eyes. Great captures!
ReplyDeleteAwe these are gorgeous! Great job :)
ReplyDeleteIf this is the same photo I have seen....I LIKE this crop ALOT!! She is so beautiful and I know the feeling of photog children looks. They know the routine and decide to give you the best face at the worst time or in this case make a super cute photo. I really like it.
ReplyDeleteYour kids are so cute!
ReplyDeleteTamar - also linking up with Deb!
These are great - and my son when he was younger used to give me to cutest looks, now at 14 he tries to hide from the camera - unless of course I'm taking pictures of his football game!!
ReplyDeleteBut dirty faces captures the reality of our kids. :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm, so maybe I should hand my camera to someone else to get my boys to smile? LOL
ReplyDeletehe looks as if he is saying "MOM!!"
ReplyDeleteLove this pic of him and what dirt are you talking about.
Have a great pic... oh and his friend pic is sweet
Now my theory on dirty faces in photographs is that it means he is being a real little boy...
ReplyDeleteMonkey has started trying to pull faces for every photo so I am scaling back on taking photos until I am sure he won't break the damn camera! :P
That girl's eyes are killer. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLol I love them both ;) and I say dirty on the face is part of being a kid! Hehe
