I want to be super motivated right now, but the heat has just been zapping it out of me. The kids have been extra whiney and clingy this week. Of course this means that my patience runs out faster than normal. I don’t’ know why I am telling you this, but the impression I am getting from other blogs, friends on facebook, and people on twitter is that I am not alone.
I am happy to be doing the scavenger hunt this week. I haven’t done it for a little while, but I was determined to this week.
Walking Empty Streets
Honestly, it isn’t too hard to walk an empty street around me. There are about 5 houses and we are pretty stretched out from each other. This is Charley walking as we were heading to the ponds.
Repeating Patterns
I found repeating patterns everywhere! I wanted to do an image that I thought no one else would think (or want) to do. So here is my air return for the A/C. By the way, I cleaned it just for you guys.
Floor
Ah, to live the life of a dog. This puppy can sleep through anything. I guess he has to.
Then and Now
This past week was Cole’s 5th birthday. Man, it doesn’t seem possible. So I made him (really, I had to make him) sit in the same spot I took the first picture in to get this then and now. And now I want to cry. My baby. sniff, sniff.
Fingertips
Okay, I know I have posted this picture before, but it is one of my all time favorites. I thought of it immediately when I saw fingertips was a prompt. There was no way I wasn’t doing this one, even though I thought of other cool ideas.
There you have them. I hope you liked them and I hope you pop over to Ramblings and Photos to see others and participate yourself.
