I had so much fun doing the scavenger last week that I had to do it again. I am trying to come up with unique images. Either by way of perspective, interpretation, or processing, but I am not quite sure I am hitting my goal. At least not to myself. So I must try harder.

Hot Hot Hot
Now for those of you that have never had to go down a metal slide in the heat of summer (in really short 80’s shorts, too) you may not realize just how hot this picture is. But for us old mature people, we know and may have some burn scars to remind us.
Finding Form
I think I was just tying too hard to capture something fantastic. Needless to say I didn’t. But this tube/tunnel/slide from an old playground had some neat character.
Front Page of the News
I couldn’t get a child to pose for the image I wanted (even with bribery). That left me to take a picture of myself and I chose to be a little silly. You’re shocked, I know.
Chore
Enough said.
Beads
Cole made this for me a couple of weeks ago and when I saw this prompt I knew I had to get a photo of him holding it.
I also wanted to share this photo at Katie Lloyd Photography for Scripture and a Snapshot. My first time joining in over there. I have been meaning to.

Hop over to these awesome blogs and join in. There is still time. While you are there check out some entries. I love seeing how other people interpret the same words.

Love all your shots. Your newspaper one made me giggle.
ReplyDeleteI really liked the news photo! Fun! You have such pretty eyes :)
ReplyDeleteThis meme is so much fun. Someday I'll join in, I'm sure. You did a great job finding fun shots. I love them all and could comment on each one, but I won't bore you with my ramblings. It's enough to say you did a great job!! :)
ReplyDeleteOh boy...these were all good. Love the scripture verse.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a blessed Sunday!
i cannot say i have a favorite, the photos are all just so great!
ReplyDeletemuch love, d.
Such awesome shots.. Your editing looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteWow, the shot of Cole is awesome! The front page one...LOL, love you're sense of humor :-)
ReplyDeletePS. Kim, can u link mine up for me, I'm out of town with only a cell phone, no computer. Just if u get a chance, thx.
You're really rocking it out - I love your composition for front page of the news. How creative! I also totally agree with the first shot. That's very hot!
ReplyDeleteI love your news picture. It's so creative and run. :)

Lol I remember going down metal slides in shorts. Ouch! Now they are all static electricity creators so you get a death shock catching a kid at the end. I haven't decided which is worse.
ReplyDeleteI truly LOVE that the first two shots are of a playground and the newspaper headline is "playground destroyed" - - awesome. And I'm one of those mature folk who remembers the HOT of that slide. OUCH.
ReplyDeleteI saw you over at Shell's place and had to stop by to say hello! I love your blog. The pictures are great. Your captions are funny! I also like that you talk about fostering, something I know very little about. I look forward to reading more of your stuff!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I totally remember those hot slides! I loved the comment above that talks about the static electricity death shock. Ha! So true!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! Our slide still gets hot, but not quite as hot as they metal ones. You'd think they could find some non-heat absorbing slide material.
ReplyDeleteThese are all fantastic! What a vivid memory that metal slide is!
ReplyDeleteI love Chore and Beads, but your Front Page takes the prize!
ReplyDeleteOh my that was hot hot hot. And the plastic ones get hot too. They've actually started putting roofs over some of the playscapes down here now!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm....... Blogger didn't like my comment.
ReplyDeleteTry 2: Amen to Hot hot hot! Plastic is mildly better, but still hot. They've actually put canopies over a couple of playscapes down here now, so needed.
Great photos. I love your front page news.
ReplyDeleteOh! I remember those hot, hot, hot slides! Great newspaper shot! Love your expression!
ReplyDeleteNice scripture and a snapshot, too! So precious of your son!
FABULOUS front page!
