Say WHAT?: Don’t Ask for Help

saywhat

“I don’t care if you can’t reach it, you cannot ask him to get your boogie.”

Oh, yes.  I actually had to say that.  Hey, at least it wasn’t about poop this time.  Charley apparently could not reach a boogie, so she asked her partner in crime (Buddy) to get it for her.

The funny thing to me is that Buddy freaks out when his hands get dirty.  Can you imagine if she would have actually conned him into doing it and he got it?  Is that too gross?  Sorry.  I live in the land of poop, snot, and boogers so it takes a lot to gross me out.

Have you been saying anything lately that makes you stop and wonder if you really just said it?

  3. Hahaha, sounds familiar! I actually found myself telling my 3 year old, "please remove your brother's boogie from your nose!" My 4 year old had a stuffy nose and so my 3 year old decided to pick his (the 4 year old's nose)... AND THEN he shoved his brother's boogie up his own nose so he could play with it later.
(When he took it out, he was disappointed that it was no longer sticky.)

  6. This is so funny, kids say and do the craziest things. My daughter likes to lick things and put them in her mouth (and she's almost 5). Like licking her shoes (she thinks it's funny) and putting marble's in her mouth. It drives me crazy and I think that's why she does it!

  7. Haha, that is awesome!! I had some time to finally read more of your blog...Soon as I saw all this, I was busting up...It reminded me of my 9 year old and what he said the other day...We were watching a movie as a family and my son was in the bathroom so we paused the movie...I yell, "Hurry up we want to turn the movie back on". He yells, "YOU CAN'T RUSH PERFECTION". LOL..I could picture him on the toilet with his hand cupped on the side of his mouth...We cracked up!! Just thought I'd share :)
