SOOC Shots of My BlissDom Flowers

This week’s theme for Foto Friday is SOOC (straight out of the camera). No cropping, no light adjustment, not editing at all.  Gulp.

I had some beautiful flowers delivered to me at BlissDom (courtesy of ConAgra Foods, THANK YOU!).  So I busted out my macro lens attachments that make me feel cool and like a real photographer.  I snapped these.

I was so happy with these pictures.  I can’t wait to start tweaking them.

If, by chance, you are interested in the lens attachments here is the information below.

Yes, these pictures were taken with attachments that cost less than $15.  I promise these are the exact ones I have.  I highly recommend checking them out.  It’s a great way to get cool images without the hefty price tag.

I put a link to both sizes.  You know, for you Nikon people, too.  Smile with tongue out  If you are unable to see the above boxes for the lens attachments because of reading this post through email subscription or in a reader, I am sorry.  If you want to see the links, you will have to click on the post and read it on my site.  Sorry.

This was linked up over at Household 6 Diva for Foto Friday.

  1. Seriously?! You took those? I love them! Forgive me for sounding stupid, but what are the bubble things (are they bath beads)?

  2. Candace, thank you so much for the compliment. The beads are moisture beads to keep the flowers hydrated. The vase was filled with them instead of water. I kept squishing them. They were fun to play with.

  6. Great photos! Thanks for sharing those links. My fil has the same attachments but he bought them years ago at a camera store. They really do produce amazing results. Your photos are beautiful.

  7. I love that first shot! I will have to check out those links because I do not have any kind of super cool macro attachments.

  8. I love the detail on the flower. It's so interesting to be able to see what looks so small and almost unnoticeable with the naked eye.

  10. Thanks for visiting my blog :) Those are great macros - you had me stumped with the moisture beads. Make sure you post the "after" tweaking versions.
