Who says that stay at home moms can’t be rebels? When I saw that the suggested theme for this week at Foto Friday was “stairs” I immediately knew where I wanted to go. But it was in an area of the state park that is closed for the season.
So I just went around the barricades. Yep, I am real wild one.
I think it was worth it. I got a couple of shots of the water tower I was dying to get. My favorite ended up being the one looking up from underneath.
Right next to the water tower is a large lodge (that is closed for the season). I had to get a shot of the snow-kissed stairs.
So there are my stairs. I couldn’t decide which one to post, so I did them both. Which one do you like better? Please be nice, I am just learning photography and Photoshop Elements. :-)
Linked up at Household 6 Diva for Foto Friday.

I love both of the shots, but I lean towards the water tower. These look really good for you just starting out. I think the pictures would really be striking if you added a layer of texture to them. Do you know how to do that yet?
ReplyDeleteThe water-tower shot is amazing! Love it!
ReplyDeleteLove the water tower. Awesome
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I think my favorite is the second one. I love the layer of snow on each step. I haven't had any snow this year so I'm enjoying everyone else's snow shots.
ReplyDeletewell I love the water tower--so unique. But the snowy steps are great too. Kaye—the road goes ever ever on
ReplyDeleteLOVE the water tower shot :)
ReplyDeleteWater tower is really creative and unique! I am finding that photography (or should I say an amazing shot) does require a little brazenness, lol.
ReplyDeleteI love your photo of the water tower! The rebelliousness adds that little extra something something. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the angle you chose in the water tower shot! It's a really neat perspective as you can see where the stairs are taking you.
ReplyDeleteOh those are fun. Love that first one- how interesting
