This week’s theme for Foto Friday is “light”. I took pictures of different things, but never found that shot that said light to me.
Then I was changing the baby’s diaper in the living room. She giggled and stared at the ceiling fan. All of my kids have done it. I am sure your kids did it when they were babies, too. I just don’t get the ceiling fan thing, especially when they aren’t even rotating.
So after her change, I laid on the floor next to her and got her view of the ceiling fan.
It isn’t what I think of when I read “light”, but it is what my baby would probably think of (if she knew what light was). So it was just fitting to take the picture from her view.

pretty! I love how a fan could instantly make the baby at ease and in awe...was great in restaurants! ;)
ReplyDeleteHow funny- when the topic came out last week I immediately took a shot like this of my chandelier in my office- & then after all the other light shots from the week- totally forgot to post it for the theme. Oh well- I think I like this one better.
ReplyDeleteThat's sweet. I love the way babies smile and giggle at such ordinary things. Everything is new and exciting to them.
ReplyDeletesometimes it's nice to look at the world from another's perspective. nice shot. Kaye—the road goes ever ever on
ReplyDeleteI really like how you turned an everyday object into something really interesting!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo - a reminder to keep looking at things from a different angle!
ReplyDeleteI love this! (And my son was infatuated with ceiling fans--I don't know why I even bothered to get him toys when all I had to do was put him under a ceiling fan!)
