Say WHAT? : Bath Time

saywhat

“Do not drink the baby’s bath water.”

My children just adore Little Lady.  They are always giving her kisses, petting her (yes I wrote petting), wanting to hold her, and wanting to feed her.  Charley was helping me give Little Lady a bath when she decided that she needed a taste of the bath water.  She stuck her finger in the baby bath, pulled it out, and licked it.  Then she said “Num, Num.”  She promptly tried to cup her hands and get more water to drink.

That is when I had to say those words.  You know, the words you never thought you would say (or even have to say).

What funny things have you said lately?

Infiniti Review and Giveaway

A few months ago I chopped off my hair.  I do it every 2 years (almost like clockwork).  I think I am going to keep my short bob for a while, though.  One thing is that it is easier to do my hair.

I got sent the new Infiniti Pro by Conair to review.  Oh man, this thing is great.  If I had this before, I might have thought twice about cutting my hair.

hairdryer

The Infiniti Pro by Conair is a 1875-watt salon quality hair dryer.  It has an AC motor to it (which really doesn’t mean much to me, but my husband says that it is a higher performance motor than my other hair dryer has).  AC motor is an alternating current motor, in case you were wondering.   It also means a life span about 3 times longer than your current dryer, if it has a direct current motor.

The Infiniti Pro is also Ionic, which means less frizz and better shine.  It also has a removable filter, so you can get that dust and gunk out before it becomes a hazard.  The “cold shot” delivers a true blast of cold air to set the style.  This baby is definitely salon quality!

The best thing is that it isn’t salon price.  You can find the Infiniti Pro by Conair at most large retailers.  It averages a price tag of $38.99.  That’s not bad at all!!

You can find out more about the Infiniti Pro at http://www.conairdryer.com/.  If you are an internet shopper like I am, you can buy one at this site, too.

Now would you like to have one?  What a silly question!  Enter your information in the form below for your chance to win.  As always, this box is to keep your information private.  I only use this information to find a winner and contact them.

This giveaway will end at noon CST on Monday, September 27th.  The winner will be generated by random.org and contacted by email.  The winner will have 3 days to claim their prize, or a new winner will be selected.

Disclosure: I did receive an Infinti by Conair to review.  The fact that I was provided with one or the hosting of this giveaway in no way influenced my opinions.  I did not receive any compensation for this review.

Sweet Baby Parts

Okay, here are some pictures I have taken with my new camera.  I am still getting used to it.  I need to take a lot more pictures before I can get more comfortable with it, but what a better way to practice than on my super cute kiddos?
So here are some pictures of Little Lady.  Of course not her face, but they are of sweet baby parts.  :-)
9-8-10 004
Teeny feet that are still peeling because the skin is so new.

9-8-10 046
Little eyelashes that are just starting to make their appearance.

9-8-10 047
Formula crusties on sweet little lips.

9-8-10 055bw
Delicate little hands with petite nails.

9-8-10 039bw
And lastly, stolen kisses on a sleepy noggin.

Now if this is sparking some serious baby fever, email me your phone number and I will call you every time she wakes up during the night.  ;-)
We are all adoring our Little Lady and Little Man.
All of the color pictures are SOOC (straight out of the camera).  The black and white fingers and foot pictures were only edited to convert to black and white.  The last picture was cropped and converted to black and white.
I am loving my new camera! And using it to take pictures of my new family!

Household Update

I know I have had a few giveaways and reviews lately (more than usual), but last week was a big week around here for birthdays.  We had Charley’s 2nd birthday, it was this blog’s birthday, and it was an actual “birth” day for our newest person in the house.
Meet Little Lady.  She is Little Man’s half sister.  She was born last week and we picked her up from the hospital.  She is with us through foster care, but hopefully (we are praying hard) she will become available down the road for adoption.  But in the meantime we are just going to enjoy every second we have with her.

This picture is of the ladies of the house.  We now have it balanced again.  Sorry about the blurry face, but I cannot show the faces of Little Lady or Little Man.
I do plan on having two more giveaways happening very soon.  So be on the lookout for those.  But right now I am still adjusting to the new household dynamic, having a 4, 3, 2 year old and a newborn, and I am soaking in all of the baby sounds, smells, and cuddles I can.  Oh, not to mention getting used to living on no sleep again.  So the blog can wait a bit.  :-)
