So I had to put these products to the test. My way. Here are my jeans that I wore as we planted our garden. Don’t you just love the knees? I wanted to test another stain, too. So I took an old burp cloth and poured fruit punch on it. After I took the picture I noticed it looks a tad like something else, sorry.
I rubbed the Oxi Clean Max Force Gel Stick Pre-Treater on the stains after the had already dried. The instructions say you can wait up to a week to wash. So I let the clothes sit in my laundry room for 3 days with the gel on them. I mean how often are we going to treat a stain while it is wet and wash it immediately?
Here are the after pictures. There is a slight stain from the mud still, but overall the jeans turned out well. The burp cloth was totally shocking. I was extremely happy with the results. There was absolutely no evidence of the fruit punch on the white at all!
Now for the test of the Oxi Clean Max Force Power Paks. I used my son’s socks from a recent mud puddle stomping expedition. These were disgusting.
I followed the directions and washed the socks. This is how they came out. I was very impressed. The slight stains you see on the soles have been there (pretty much since the first wearing).
So here are the before and after side by side. I think you will see that the results speak for themselves. I would definitely recommend this product. I actually did recommend it to my mom.

Okay...the burp cloth picture...LOL!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great product. I haven't tried it yet. We are the 'stain' family! And ya know who the worst is? My hubby!!!!
Yeah, that burp cloth picture......
ReplyDeleteI love OxiClean stuff, they are wonderful! Hope I win.
cool!
ReplyDeleteI wondered about the burp cloth myself lol.
Iwould definitely try it.
I love Oxy but haven't tried these products. In fact we went to a birthday party on Saturday and my son spilled red jello on his shirt and my daughter had chocolate stains on her dress. I mixed some powdered oxy with water in a bucket and let the two soak and both stains came out.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry about the burp cloth! I wanted something that wasn't already stained up, white, and wouldn't be a big deal to ruin. I honestly didn't think the stain would come out. I should have used a white washcloth. Now I know for future reference. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny, Kim. I wouldn't have thought anything of the burp cloth if you didn't say anything! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHa, too funny about the socks. Yes, EVERY pair of my boys sock look like that after the first wearing!
All of my 2 year olds socks look like that! so gross! I think I'm going to have to try this stuff out!
ReplyDeleteI have heard peroxide is a good for stains or baking soda?? Probably not as good as that, though!
ReplyDeleteOooo gross! Thank goodness for cleaning agents and washing machines!
