Bobsledding Basics

As the world turns to watch the Olympics, I bet you are doing it, too.  Here is a fun way to teach your kids about one of the events and beat the winter blues.

All you need are some kids and a laundry basket.  I am pretty certain you have those around the house.  :-)  Pop the kids in and run up and down the hallway.  WARNING: This is a workout, Mommies!  Be prepared to be out of breath.

If you are reading this in a reader or by email, you will need to click onto the post to watch the video.  You can see me getting my workout in for the day.  Whew!

Try it.

  7. Lol, that does indeed look like it'd be a workout! My daughter got her first taste of sledding this weekend (we live down south and rarely get snow). She loved it, and I"m sure she'd love me pushing her around too!

  8. When Mommies are done getting their workouts, you can put stuffed animals in the basket and let the kids do it. Great way to get some exercise and burn off energy!

  10. Ryan loves doing this but after about five minutes I am so done. He could do it for hours if I let him. But I love the idea of putting the stuffed animals in it! That's a great idea : )
